Chimborazo, Ecuador
Chimborazo is a massive glaciated inactive volcano located in central Ecuador. It is both Ecuador's highest peak, at 6263m, and the furthest point on the earth's surface (from the earth's center at the summit) due to its proximity to the equator.
Climbing three summits and acclimatizing via hiking at altitude, Chimborazo sets the stage for Aconcagua and our 14-day rapid ascent approach.
